My first memory of Gary Bellow is meeting him at Western Center on Law and Poverty in 1967. Gary gave a very deliberate presentation on unlawful detainer law in California. He discussed all the future battles to be won to assist low-income people facing eviction. Gary's passion and analytical ability influenced many young attorneys in their efforts to provide equal justice. Lauralea Saddick
